Adequate Provider Network Policy Statement*
The California Psychiatric Association (CPA) will work with other stakeholders, including the mental health advocacy community, the California Medical Association and other medical specialty societies to explore legislative and/or regulatory options that would require health service plans to provide adequate network coverage and to further, give the Department of Managed Health Care authority to enforce such provisions.
